Our Seeds for Needs program offers life discovery classes and workshops to broaden, instruct and develop a set of personal skill sets. The classes and workshops offered five distinct disciplines to provide a foundation to empower ones ability to create opportunity to build a successful life for themselves and their family.
Our Upward Bound workshop provides assistance to adults seeking to acquiring their GED or advancing support trade or college admission to higher Education. This workshop would showcase local schools offering education or job training in industries that are trending to provide sustainable employment and careers. This workshop will also cover information such as the general application process, acceptance requirements and financial aid options.
The CTP offer services, training and support to instill the right skills for today’s job market. CTP provides the tools to those who are seeking employment, skills to remain relevant or guidance for those seeking to change careers. With the right assistance we hope to prepare individuals to become resourceful, self-sufficient and empowered. CTP assists in resume preparation, job coaching and job search.
Entrepreneurial training is a 12 week assisting individuals seeking to start their own business or receive addition skills to enhance their current businesses. This training class cover 12 business disciplines to assist in creating a business plan and startup.
This financial literacy and awareness class helps educate and inform individuals in money, asset and debt management. This class will teach fundamentals in family budgeting, impact of homeownership, understanding your credit, predatory loans, Id Theft, the role of insurance and saving and spending.
Healthy Choice workshops cover key topics that look to improve the most important asset we own, ourselves. The workshop offers information to better educate and maintain a healthy living lifestyle. Covering topics such as health management-affordable health plans, proper nutrition and exercise.
